Warning SPOILER if you havent read Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallow do NOT read on
Many of you might have felt like I felt wenn in the end of the book there was no mentioning of the profession Harry took on: Dissapointed!
I do not know if JK Rowling answered to this dissapointment or if she planned it all alonge but she named Harry Potter the Wizard of the month October.
You can enter her side and look for youselfe but I have also copyed the text she wrote about Harry.

“Wizard of the Month
Harry Potter
( 1980 – )
The boy who lived, only known survivor of the Avada Kedavra curse and conqueror of Lord Voldemort, also known as Tom Riddle. Harry Potter joined the reshuffled Auror Department under Kingsley Shaklebolt at age 17, rising to become Head of said department in 2007.”

Exactly how we’ve expected it to be! Harry Potter couldn’t have another profession. It was the only choice for a wizard with his fate.

Well but it would be understandable that he needet a break from all his adventures I still think after Dumbledores Army he could have been a great teacher.
But in a way he is now isn´t he I mean he will be training the new aurors!

Well well… the ending for sure was dissappionting and I spent some time with the question of Harrys profession too…
But I couldn’t imagine what profession a person like him would have. I thought, that he challenged enough black wizards for one life, but it looks like I was wrong in that point
Hope he is happy with his choice

Please,
hehehe) but serious, I hope Mrs Rowling will take some real time off and write her next book (The world around Harry-the magic history book or whatever), because the idea is great and I can really understood her when she let all the errors be published…It is still a book for children
…
How old R U all???
First we all know that JK ROwling is a big fan of Tolkien, and we all should know that when she started her first book she did it for her little ones (means no time limits, no deadlines..etc), so I don’t get you people – what is Harry doing after his school (If he ever finished it
I mean even Tolkien did start small (remember the tale of Bilbo Baggins!!!)…
I like the book and even if I am a Holly\Bolly-Wood and Tolkien-Star-Wars freak and live for happy ends without real deaths…the books are OK (The worst for me was the 5th..but still)…
Greatings
Dzenan the artistking!

I was quite disappointed as well. I was thinking Harry would lead a life away fro m the ministry. Although he did hint that he would love to be an auror with the compliments Barty Crouch Jr. gave him. Honestly thoguh, I thought he was going to become a Hogwarts Professor seeing as he had so much experience with DADA. I mean come on. Dumbledore’s army is plain proof of that.
